“All that is important is this one moment in movement.
Make the moment important, vital, and worth living.
Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.”

Abu Dhabi’s based experimental performing artist and movement educator. Mexican born with German roots.

Classical Pilates teacher and educator, Yoga instructor searching for the flow and working on a gymnastic hand balance, understanding anatomy and biomechanics as a continuation of being a Franklin Method Educator.

As a teacher I’m committed to create accessible and  inclusive spaces that nurture a culture of movement. I accept myself as a fervent lover of kinesthetics. A continuous tendency to teach concepts not exercises, the understanding of a functional movement that implies congruence with a complete being. More than 25 years moving and being moved. Teaching, being a teacher of teachers and being a student. Understanding by doing.

In the field of contemporary dance as a dancer and performer, I have stepped on theatrical and natural stages in Mexico, Bolivia, Ecuador, Germany, Austria, Hungary and now the Middle East. My choreographic and experimental performance research work is defined by geometry, philosophy, and a somatic approach. Intrigued by new media and technology, taking the BODY as an intrinsic reference. My choreographic work and interdisciplinary artistic research continue independently, following the here and now.
