Lillian Movement

Art Statement

My artistic practice unfolds at the intersection of form, somatics, environment and sound, where the body becomes both medium and site of research. Rooted in my background in contemporary dance and deepened through Pilates, yoga and somatic methodologies, I explore how internal sensation shapes external expression how form is not imposed, but emerges from within. I am interested in the dialogue between body and environment, where space, texture and context inform movement and perception. Sound, both as vibration and composition, becomes a partner in this process, guiding rhythm, attention and emotional landscapes. Central to my work is the intention to nurture, creating spaces that support awareness, accessibility and transformation. Through interdisciplinary practices and collaborative formats, I seek to build community, where diverse bodies can gather, sense and move together, cultivating a shared language of embodiment, care and belonging.
